[..YouTube..] Mmmm, I made this with frozen mango and banana that I had already, and put a little hemp milk with it. Pleased to say that I picked the spinach from my veg garden, so it was minutes out of the ground…it was just delicious! Thank you!

  4. [..YouTube..] @camelsammy That’s the way to do it! Congrats on growing your own greens, something that continues to elude me :) Jane

[..YouTube..] Hello. Good video. Do you know what I can use in place of hemp powder? Not sure where to get this. Would protien powder or chia seeds work? Thanks.. Oh and I subscribed so I can find more of your videos )

  9. [..YouTube..] @TheCrashdawg Thank you for your kind words and support. Yes, you can use protein powder or chia seeds and other subs for the hemp powder could be pine nuts, sunflower or pumpkin seeds. I subbed you back :) Many thanks,Jane

Jane, I am not a big coconut fan, but bcesuae it has such good nutrition I will use the water and now the flesh in what looks like a great salad. I really think its the dehydrated coconut I don’t like that much.Thank you for another great recipe!!!

[..YouTube..] glad i found this video. i just made this and it tastes yummy with mango and spinach. i used fresh pineapple instead of banana and i also had arugula, frissee, and purple cabbage and i added a sprig of ginger for extra kick and it was so wonderfully delicious. thanks! this video helped me to make a delicious green smoothie.

  13. [..YouTube..] @iroc31407 You’re welcome. I’m glad I could help. Thank you for writing and come back and let me know what else you make. The inspiration goes both ways :) Jane

  14. [..YouTube..] Hey Jane, I wanted to ask if you think there is any benefit from frozen spinach (those tiny cubes of frozen spinach leaves) and I’m asking that for two reasons: first, it would come in handy when the spinach season is over, and second, I live alone and I don’t like too much spinach in my smoothies or elsewhere, so I would probably have to throw away half of the fresh spinach and I don’t want to throw away food.

  15. [..YouTube..] And as I am already writing to you, may I ask: are you vegetarian/vegan? I ask that because I’ve never seen you using animal products in your videos but then there was this video where you made garlic sauce and you suggested to use it as a marinade for meat… Anyway, thanks for your insparation! (except for the meat ;-)

  16. [..YouTube..] @Imjustheretofollow I think frozen spinach is better than none at all – go to the nutrition data websites and you can see the stats. I don’t like to throw away food either.:)Jane

  17. [..YouTube..] @Imjustheretofollow Hi, to make a long story short, I’m an everythingarian. I eat what I want when I want – I like food freedom. It just so happens I really like the waterful foods and greens, greens, greens.:)Jane

[..YouTube..] I’ve made this and it’s so good and so beautiful! One of the best smoothies I’ve ever had, and you’re right when you say that it stays with you. It really does, is low calorie, and losing weight has never been so much fun!

  21. [..YouTube..] @vegasrenie That is so great to hear such a positive reaction and it helps others to know what you are doing so they can do it, too. Please keep me posted on your progress, as I love to hear green smoothie success stories. Thanks for writing and for your support. I appreciate it.Jane

[..YouTube..] If you haven’t read the book Eat To Live by Dr. Joel Fuhrman you should! It s wonderful book that really sheds light on nutrition, calories, diets and fads and the way your body really works…your doing exactly what he suggests so kudos to you!

  23. [..YouTube..] @shobey26 Thanks! I haven’t read it but I’ve heard of it, it’s on my list.Many thanks,Jane

  24. rach0babe says:

[..YouTube..] you are so cute ahah

  25. [..YouTube..] You don’t eat after 6? Aren’t you STARVING by the time you go to bed?? I always have to eat right before I go to bed or I can’t sleep I am so hungry… and then sometimes if I don’t eat right before bed, I will wake in the middle of the night with major hunger pains. (granted, I’m not trying to lose weight)

  26. TadewiiBird says:

[..YouTube..] I think health and joy should be of higher priorities than weight loss. :) but great video!! I love your energy!!

  27. [..YouTube..] @TadewiiBird Thanks and I agree with you!

  28. [..YouTube..] I am getting so confused about juicing vs blending. Wouldn’t it have been better to juice the spinach in a masticating juicer, and then adding that to the blender? I keep hearing that the high rpms of the blender will oxidize the veggies.

  29. [..YouTube..] @amusingisthedawn I don’t like cleaning juicers so I use my blender. The rpms of the blender may not preserve as much nutrition as a juicer but I get so many fruits and veg that I don’t concern myself with it. For me, it’s about keeping it simple and the VitaMix keeps it so simple and easy that I get my greens every day, which is what I like to do. Plus I get the fiber which is removed in juicing. I like juicing AND blending, for me it’s not either/or.
