My VitaMix Anti Aging Minted Sprout Green Smoothie is a simple and easy, nutritious and delicious smoothie with a juice-like texture.
Use a handful of sprouts – alfalfa or sunflower or your favorite sprouts – a handful of mint and fresh apple juice. Ooh, la, la, it’s good.
You’re Gonna Love It
Remember when I showed you how to make apple juice in the VitaMix? Well, go look at that video. I just, moments ago, made this fresh apple juice, and I’ve got 3 cups of it in the blender.I’m going to add to it a handful of sprouts. This is a handful of those salad mix sprouts, so it’s a variety of sprouts, but you can use any kind of sprouts you like, alfalfa, sunflower, whatever you like. So put a handful of the sprouts of your choice into the VitaMix, here, just put the whole thing in, that’s a big handful, but that’s what I like to do.
And, I’m also adding a handful of fresh mint, fresh spearmint, look at that. Mmm… the aroma is wonderful, anti-bacterial, it’s anti-fungal, it’s green, it’s full of chlorophyll, it’s full of flavor, it merges wonderfully with the apple juice. Apple juice, sprouts and a handful of mint, let’s get it all in there, okay,and that’s all there is to it. This is more like a drink than a thick smoothie, it’s so refreshing. You can add ice if you like. Now, let’s blend it up. And then I’m gonna tell you something else that happened today. Here we go.
This blends up in no time. I can smell the mint already. Mmm… when you use apple juice as a base, it’s so strong and sweet, everything tastes delicious. You can put the bitterest of greens with apple juice and come out with something spectacular. So, I’m going to pour it in there, look, it looks like a caramel shake, very delicious… mmm… I want this …this is what we want.

[..YouTube..] @0willijah0 The VitaMix is a blender that you can juice with – simply strain your juice blend through a juice bag. I have a Champion juicer, too, but I use the VitaMix for juicing as it’s simpler to do and easier to clean.I also chop veggies and grind wheat, etc. in the VM – there are dry and wet containers that do pretty much everything. [..YouTube..] Love your info! BUT, Vitamix just had to pay, like 11 million bucks to BLENDTEC cause they swiped their technology! So, i O rdered the New DESIGNER SERIES Blendtec!! I will try your recipes when I get it!!
