VitaMix AntiAging Cucumber Dill Detox Drink

Today I am making my Anti-Aging Cucumber Dill Detox Drink. It is one of the most delicious, low glycemic detox drinks I think we can make. You don’t always have to go for a lot of fruit in a detox drink. All you need to do is put one long English cucumber or 2 regular size cucumbers into the VitaMix. I get the long English cucumbers from Costco, I’m sure you’ve heard me say it many times, because they come in a 3-pack and they’re certified pesticide free. So just fill your blender up with a couple of cucumbers or one long one.
And then, here’s a big bunch of dill. The amount of dill that you put into your detox is up to you. I love the aroma and flavor of dill. It is full of anti-oxidants, phytonutrients; it is a pungent and delicious herb. So, if you love it, go like this, and put it all in there. If you don’t, that’s okay, too, put less in there. Now, you can add a little bit of water in there if you like. If you don’t add water to it, you’re gonna get the full hit of dill and cucumber.
Sip And Deliver
Use the tamper and push the cucumbers into the blades and once they get going the water will explode and it will take off. It is so pungent and refreshing smelling, low glycemic, and full of chlorophyll and oxygen. Let’s sip and deliver the chlorophyll and oxygen directly to our bloodstream. Look at that. What I will do is pour this into several glasses, put it in to the refrigerator, and sip on it all day long. That’s what I love to do with my deep, dark green drinks. They kill cravings, they energize you without any sugar spikes, your blood sugar doesn’t drop and you always feel so good. I do.
I’m happy to share this with you. When you don’t want sugar, when you don’t want something sweet, this is what you want to do. Throw a cucumber and your favorite green into the VitaMix and come up with your own detox drink. Now, this to me is the kind of drink that you want to sip in small quantities, it’s not sweet. This is like a shot of chlorophyll, almost as though we were drinking wheatgrass, but the cucumber tempers all the dill. You don’t have to use as much dill as I did.
