VitaMix AntiAging Celery Circus Green Smoothie
My VitaMix Anti Aging Celery Circus Green Smoothie is the perfect blend of grapefruit, celery and mint. Feel nourished, hydrated and happy with this circus of flavors.
This is what you do with your celery. Don’t throw it out. I took 2 grapefruit. Delicious, sweet, Ruby Red grapefruit, peeled them and put them into the VitaMix blender. These are common ingredients that I use. You don’t have to go to any specialty stores, you don’t have to order off the internet, you don’t have to spend extra money. Get your fruits in season.
To that I am adding approxomately 1/2 cup fragrant spearmint. It is so delicious. You can remove the stems if they’re large stems, or leave the stems on if you want. If you do remove the stems, you get a slightly more elegant texture. And then, your left over celery or your new celery, use the inside leaves. I used 4 stalks. I cut it up because I was going to use it with a dip, then I decided to use it in my smoothie this morning. I woke up wanting bright, citrusy. I wanted the salt from the celery. This, I believe, is going to be a delicious blend.
So delicious. I know it, because I can smell it. If you enjoy grapefruit, this is the way to go. I left the pith and the skins on the membranes. It helps to nourish those teeny little blood vessels in our extremities and our toes and our fingers. It helps with our blood circulation. Mmm… the mint is delicate. The celery has a slight bit of sodium to it. This is a wonderful, refreshing, light and airy combination. This is a green smoothie I believe everybody can enjoy, whether you are just beginning with your greens or whether you are hardcore. You cannot deny the citrus, the cleansing qualities of it, and how wonderful it makes you feel. What a great way to begin the morning. Try it and let me know what you think. Leave me a comment below.
The Blend:
2 grapefruit, peeled, remove seeds, leave on the pith
1/2 cup fresh spearmint
1 cup celery, including the inside leaves
Blend and enjoy this delicious elixir. Watch the video and see how easy it is.

[..YouTube..] @blenditandMendit – I read through your about – “Degree: MwC” – I don’t understand what that means. I am really new to your videos. Love your combo suggestions…particularly loving the cucumber noodles with pesto. I must pick up some ingredients for that!

[..YouTube..] where do you get your mint this time of year?
[..YouTube..] @n6qqm I find mint year round in the conventional grocery stores, at Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Sprouts Market, etc. It’s also easy to grow in your windowsill.
