VitaMix AntiAging OddsEnds Beauty Water
My VitaMix Anti Aging OddsEnds Beauty Water is the tasty solution to what to do with the odds and ends, bits and pieces of carrots, celery, greens, fruit, etc. that we all find in our fridge.
Instead of throwing them out, put them in your blender with lots of water and create an OddsEnds Beauty Water unique to you.
Quench your thirst, nourish and beautify your skin and ward off cravings by sipping Beauty Water throughout the day.
Make this and post your comments and questions!
Don’t Throw It Out
You know what odds and ends are. You go into your refrigerator and you find the last piece of a carrot that somebody took a bite out of and didn’t finish. A bit of cucumber. The last stalk and bits of celery. You could throw them out or you could put them into your blender.
Remember, we’re making Beauty Water, not a smoothie. So, I’ve put 6-7 cups, I think this is 7 cups of water, into the VitaMix. Throw in your bit of carrot. Throw in the last bit of cucumber; the stalk of celery that if you don’t use it today, it’s gone. I also found in my refrigerator, a little bit of mixed greens left over, not enough for a salad, not enough for a full smoothie, but the perfect amount to put into your Beauty Water. And, I have a few grapes left over, also.
From Deep Within
Normally, I only put greens and water in my Beauty Water, but look how pretty that is. Let’s throw a few grapes in there and give it a touch of sweetness. When we blend this up and pour it into a glass, it is so refreshing, it quenches your thirst from deep within and it’s also a great craving killer. Sip on these green Beauty Waters during the day. Okay, so look what’s in the blender. The makings of Beauty Water that you would have thrown out. You’ve already paid for this delicious, wonderful, high water content, waterful food. So use it in a different way.
This is a blender full, a half gallon, 64 ounces of Beauty Water… light and refreshing. You can do several things with it. You can, if you have to race off to work, put it directly into a thermos and off you go, keep it cold at work. You can take your first sips of it out of a beautiful, crystal goblet, makes it taste even better. Want to show you the color and the consistency of this. You see? It’s light, look at that… like a water… Mmm… This is just… delicate. You sip this when you get cravings instead of giving in to the craving right away. You can always give in to the craving. Give your body this first.
Great Big Mug
Mmm… when it gets chilled in the refrigerator, it’s even better. Or, you can put it right into a great big pitcher, put it in the refrigerator like this, let it chill, drink right from the pitcher or use this to fill up glasses throughout the day. And of course, a great big mug of Beauty Water in the morning is just the way you want to start your day. Look at that.

This is so much better than plain water, I have tried many combinations, my favorite is cucumber, carrot, spinach, parsley, few grapes, and a little piece of lemon, mmmm, thanks Jane this is such a great idea. I keep some green tea ice cubes in the freezer, pour your beauty water over them to add even more anti-oxidants.
Hi Debbie,
That’s a great ice cube idea – green tea – which I will add to my family of green ice cubes

I made the squash soup and it is very bitter. I’m trying to add things to cut the bitter taste. Not sure where I went wrong.
Hi Diane,
It could be you don’t like the cumin in it?
Or, it may be the squash itself was poor quality.
Once in awhile I come across one that is bland or bitter.
As for doctoring the recipe after the fact, usually salt or sugar can fix it…
