Transcript of this video:

I purchased this one pound bag of organic, frozen mango chunks from Whole Foods for only $2.99, so mango does not always have to be expensive. I’m going to add it to the VitaMix, about half the bag, we’ve got a couple of cups in here, just so you can see the proportions.

Then I’m going to add a half bunch of fresh, organic spinach, this was only $1.99 so you don’t have to pay alot for organic. If you can’t get organic, that’s fine, just begin somewhere with what you can get.

So, we’re going to pull about a half bunch from this already washed spinach. You can snip off the little ends if you want, but you don’t have to, they will get ground right up in the VitaMix. I try to keep it easy, easy, easy, the less work for you and me to do the better.

So, a couple of cups of the frozen mango chunks, a half bunch of fresh spinach and we are going to make pudding. Snap on the lid and begin blending. Approximately 45 seconds. Ane we’re done.

Let’s see how it tastes. Texture, perfect. The perfect amount of mango. Put into pretty glasses, put in your fridge and all throughout the day you will have beautiful, high water content, Anti Aging Spinach Mango Pudding.

Spinach does have iron in it, like Pop-Eye said, in fact, in a half bunch of spinach there’s about 5 grams of protein and amino acids, which gives us almost 10% of what we require everyday.

And of course, it has the iron, so you’re getting good stuff. Here’s one glass, look how pretty it looks, with a mother-of-pearl spoon. You will enjoy this so much. It has the texture of pudding.

It’s a beautiful emerald green, I taste the mango, I taste the freshness, it retains all its high water content, it’s organic and your body does not have to work to digest it. That’s where the anti aging comes in, you don’t have to pass out on the couch after you eat it.

I hope you will make my Anti Aging Spinach and Mango Pudding, post your comments and questions and let me know what you think.

  1. [..YouTube..] I plan on getting a vitamix. I was wondering (cause I see a lot of people doing it) if it’s good for the vitamix to have food driven into the blades with the tamper? It kind of makes a weird sound (on the motor in your video) and I don’t want to do that and blow the motor. So it’s ok to do that?

  2. [..YouTube..] @PapillonPower I have been making frozen ice creams and other desserts in the VitaMix I use in my videos for over 4 years. Straight from the VM manual: “Use tamper to press ingredients into the blades while processing. In about 30-60 seconds the sound of the motor will change…Stop machine… do not overmix…”If I sense I’m stressing out the motor, I shut the machine off for 45 seconds and let it re-set. So far so good and I really put my machine through the wringer on a daily basis! Jane.

  3. [..YouTube..] @blenditandMendit Thank you! I saw a video where someone made ice cream with just ice and powders (lucuma, cacao and other herbs and flavor extracts only) and I really want to do that. I guess I am just so used to a regular blender. I can’t wait to get a vitamix!!!! Your videos a so inspiring.

  4. [..YouTube..] @PapillonPower Ice is no problem in the VitaMix. When you are ready, if you order it from my website, you get free shipping, a $25 US / $35 CAN savings, plus I arranged 3 ways to purchase for those of us on a budget and who isn’t? Welcome to Blend It and Mend It! Jane.

  5. [..YouTube..] @blenditandMendit Awesome. I was looking at their site and was considering their refurbished machines. I’ve heard people say those are a great way to get one at a discounted price and have the same 7 year warranty.I was going to use your code for the free shipping when the time came. My husband is getting it for me for valentine’s day and also I think he’s sick me me talking about it! HAHA! :D

  6. [..YouTube..] @PapillonPower Yes, you can use my code on a refurbished machine which are excellent and have the warranty – why pay more? Thanks and lettuce blend and mend together. Jane.

[..YouTube..] I made this with this morning but I added frozen bananas. This was wonderful!i LOVE MY VITA MIX. LOL. Finally I was able to try something other than the delicious strawberry and banana ice cream. So delcious and healthy. There is no need to buy regular ice cream when this is so darn good! The mango is a wonderful sweet addition. Thanks Jane!

  10. [..YouTube..] @Catwoman501 You’re welcome and thanks for the review! It’s great for me and others to get opinions on the recipes other than my own :) Jane

This is green velvet perfection! What a treat. The only thing I added was a teaspoon of ‘nog’ because my frozen mangoes didn’t look that ripe. Love it for my new after dinner treat!

  12. Natalie says:

I tried this earlier and it was delicious! However I had to add water to mine because my current blender is too weak.

  13. Miss Anna says:
