Today I am making my Anti Aging Francesca Smoothie. It is another viewer submitted smoothie that Francesca sent in from Australia, so hello Francesca! I’m looking forward to making your elixir.
Let’s load Francesca’s recipe into the blender. As you can see I am using a couple of big chunks of watermelon and I’m also using an inch thick slice of fresh pineapple round that I cut up this morning. I also cut up one nectarine.
I’ve almost got a blender full of fruit here, let’s pour the juice in here, I don’t want to miss out on any fresh fruit juice.
Your typical proportions for a green smoothie are 60% fruit and 40% greens. That’s how I started out because I read Victoria Boutenkos’s Book Green For Life, which I recommend to everybody.
Now let’s blend up Francesca’s smoothie. That hint of pineapple in there… so creamy, this is what I love about my VitaMix, mmm… everything’s so creamy and delicious. I can tell this is a winner, let’s analyze it a bit.
It’s phytonutrient rich with the pineapple, the cilantro, the nectarine, the watermelon. When is somebody going to invent that smellavision so you can get the aroma of what is in this glass? No wonder you love this, Francesca, no wonder your daughter likes it, it’s delicious!

[..YouTube..] @gongabeans I prefer seeded watermelons when I find them, they are tastier and healthier, but mostly I come across seedless varieties. I eat watermelon seeds with no problem, have been since I was a kid. I don’t deliberately include them in my meals and smoothies, but some get in, that’s the nature of it.As far as I know they are safe to eat, but do your own research and make sure they won’t cause you any digestive problems. Everybody’s different.Jane
[..YouTube..] smellle vision lol. You right i could imagine the smell and the taste of it. Every time i basically use my blender i throw in greens. Sometimes i just get exotic with it and add a few different greens to add up to a handfull and throw it in the blentec. My kids and my wife don’t like when i add greens in the drink. Sometimes i use less greens for them and they still cry about it. I love my greens so i need that everyday. Thankyou jane for educating me on fruits and greens some of i never trybe4
