Yesterday I made my anti aging Creamy Lemonade and while I was making it, I thought, I have to make this with oranges and so that’s what I’m doing today, because I can’t get it out of my mind what this will taste like with oranges in it.

All it requires is 3 peeled oranges – look at the color of this orange – I don’t know if its the color or the flavor of fresh fruits and vegetables which captivates me more, but when I see the colors, I find them intoxicating.

So let’s add one, two, three oranges to the VitaMix. Is this not like holding a globe of sunshine in your hand?

I’m also adding one tablespoon of vanilla, let’s call that a tablespoon. And, the piece de resistance, 1/2 cup of my Nectar of the Gods Sweetener, which I call NOG for short. Nectar of the Gods Sweetener is Medjool dates soaked in coconut water. Where else do you get a sweetener with fiber and electrolytes?

Let’s blend and see what kind of orangeade we come up with. The aroma… let’s pour this baby in a parfait glass.

Look at the color, I don’t know if you can see the color, it is just gorgeous. Yes, that’s what I thought in my mind it was going to taste like. This is a delectable concoction. fresh oranges, and oranges are much more than Vitamin C.

They have the high water content to them, we need that water, which is naturally distilled by Mother Nature. Why should we go out and buy water when it is naturally occurring in our fruits and vegetables and the finest water we can get?

I taste the sweetener from the Nectar of the Gods, those dates that are infused with coconut water, it’s a unique flavor… and the fiber, we all know anti aging begins in the bowels, so we need our fiber…

…bioflavonoids which fight off cancer, phytonutrients that fight off heart disease, zero fat, low in calories, come on, what else do we want? I think this is all about anti aging and it’s delicious.

This looks so delicious — and like something I could make that everyone in the family would like and the ingredients are things I mostly always have on hand. Thank you, again, Jane.

    Hi Jane,

My husband and I tried this as our “very first vitamix recipe” (it arrived yesterday). We were trying to decide what to make an my husband said “see what Jane says.” HA! I guess I watch your videos a lot. They are wonderful!
We blended it together and oh my! The aroma was heavenly! We clinked our glasses and took a sip. WOW! We were bowled over…it tasted like a push pop! We even started laughing! It was just like eating a melty sugary, bad-for-you push pop…but it wasn’t bad for you at all!
Thank you Jane for your positive attitude and inspiring recipes. YUM!
    Can’t wait to make more!

      Hi Neely,
You’re welcome! This is one of my faves, too, and I feel so good on it and react to it just like you and your husband do.
So many blends, so little time…
      :)
