[..YouTube..] Jane, the chocolate pudding looks really delicious and I will definitely try it out. I don’t have a pear at home so it will have to wait. The cucumber drink is so refreshing. I always add a small sprig of mint from the garden – it goes together so well. Thanks!

  2. [..YouTube..] @sugordon I agree about the mint, I love all things fresh mint! I use a mint leaf for the favicon on my website :) Let me know what you think of Rebecca’s Choc Pear Pudding, it is really good, I hope you think so, too.Jane

  3. [..YouTube..] Can you subsitute the almond butter for something without nuts in it?? What would that be as my kids are allergic to nuts

  4. [..YouTube..] @habibiyaeini3 Hi Habibi,Here are suggestions that I found, but I haven’t tried them so you will have to do so and let me know if anything worked for you: cream cheese, avocado, hummus, vegey purees, bean dips, soy and or seed butters, maybe these will give you ideas.

  5. [..YouTube..] @blenditandMendit Thank you soo much!

    Hi Jane
You are so fresh and fun on camera! I’m glad to know that you enjoyed the pear pudding.
My “sweet tooth” IS evolving towards whole foods along with my “hunger” for greens as I continue to repeat your 30 Day Anti-Aging Protocol. This is month 4, and every meal needs something green(s) in it! You have invited me to surrender to the allure of waterful foods, and I’ve fallen in love!

    Hi Rebecca,
I have another pear ripening and I am going to make it again – I’m planning on dipping jicama sticks into it!

  8. Angie says:

I must go buy some pears! :D

  9. [..YouTube..] Hey Jane, thanks for all your videos! I’ve been watching a whole lot of them during the last days and today I bought a Vitamix :-) I’m soooo looking forward to my first homemade (green) smoothie! In fact, I can’t wait so I’m going to a whole food store to buy all the little healthy extras like flax seeds, cashews, dates, etc. Thanks for your inspiration! Love, Mira.

  10. [..YouTube..] @Imjustheretofollow Hi Mira,Congratulations! I hope you get as much fun and wellbeing from your VitaMix as I get from mine. Definitely stock up so that you have what you need to make your health giving concoctions and keep me posted. When you come up with your fave green smoothie, send me the recipe and I’ll make it on camera.:)Jane

We had this for dinner / dessert – delish! My partner was impressed too – that it was made with whole foods. He also said that this is what our future kids will be eating! :D

[..YouTube..] Just made the choc pear pudding and it’s absolutely delish – hits the sweet spot bang on! I also sprinkled coconut n top – Mmmm!!

  13. [..YouTube..] @sugordon Glad you liked it -Rebecca is one on my 30 Day Support Protocol grads and she comes up with the yummiest blends :) Jane

  14. Linda says:

Jane – I’ve seen you sprinkle coconut on several deserts such as this and the chocolate truffles. Are you using your own shredded coconut or store bought? I can’t find anything on your site or the web about making shredded dried coconut other than dehydrating with a machine. Can coconut can be grated in the Vitamix then oven dried? Are there any smoothie recipes that use the coconut meat?

  15. Michele says:

OMG! This was so good. I made mine like mousse, I can’t believe how good it is. I also put some shredded coconut on mine. I have 2 Bosc pears left and I’ll be using them to make more of this.

  16. Anna says:

Isn’t it hard to get out of a big blender container with such a small amount? Anyone have a tip?

I think I might try again with my small magic bullet

  17. Michele says:

It was a little hard to get it out. I have some of the Vitamix spatulas but they don’t bend very well. I used that to get out as much as I could then used a regular spatula to get under the blade and all around the sides. I will be honest and say after that, I used my finger to get out the rest at the bottom, it was that good. Then I put in some almond milk to try and get out the rest.

    • Rebecca says:

Can’t help you with the pudding dregs, but I just started making sorbet/icecream 1st thing in the morning so that I could blend my smoothie right after it and not waste anything that wanted to hang onto the blades! And now we have our after dinner treat waiting without having to wash the blender twice.

Glad the pear pudding is such a hit with everyone.

Thx. Good tips, guys. Love the one, especially, about rinsing blender out with another liquid or making a smoothie right after to not waste anything

Michelle … I, too, have used my hand in blender to get every last bit out:)

    • Rebecca says:

ya know, as I’m thinking about it now, I originally made the pear pudding in a bowl and mushed all of the yummies together with a fork, so I must have been using a very ripe pear! I licked that bowl clean!
