Today is another Beauty Water. I’ve been getting all of your mail and I know you really like them, so this is what I came up with today. Cucumber Pear Beauty Water.

Just A Touch

It’s gonna be delicious and if you want you can put in optional ginger, just a touch, because I don’t want it to overwhelm the delicate flavor of the pear. As usual, we start out with 6 cups of water if you want an all day supply. You don’t have to make 6 cups, you can make 2 cups or 4 cups, whatever suits you, but it’s great to know you have Beauty Water in the fridge or at work in a thermos when you get thirsty and you want something to make you feel really good. And beautiful.

VitaMix Not Necessary

To the 6 cups of water, add the half of a pear. I took the seeds out. I know some people go ahead and grind up the seeds of the apples and the pears. I like to clean up the fruit a little bit, especially when I’m putting it into my Beauty Water. Add about a half of a cucumber, which I have cut into 3 pieces. You can make your Beauty Waters in any kind of a blender, you don’t have to have a high speed VitaMix blender to make Beauty Water because there’s so much liquid in it. That’s another good thing about it.

Ok, let’s give it a sip. Wow, this is delicate, touch of pear, touch of ginger, touch of cucumber. This is really a beauty of a Beauty Water. I know you will enjoy sipping on this all day. This is really a good one. Ah… fantastic. Really good and beautiful. Beautiful to look at. It made almost the entire blender full, which is half a gallon. So pour this into some big mugs. Keep it in the refrigerator or put it in a thermos and take it to work and look what you get to sip on all day. Thank you for viewing and thank you for all of the positive feedback and comments on my Beauty Waters. I really appreciate it. And thank you for clicking the LIKE button below the video, would you do that again today and give this video some Google love and we will spread the green goodness and the Beauty Water all around. Thank you.

Jane, I love your site, and the way you provide us with so many creative and imaginative ways to “blend it and mend it”! Your site is one of the first places I come to every day when I fire up the computer. Thank you so much for all you do!

A quick question … I love chia gel and chia fresca (and drink a bottle of the latter every day!). Is there any reason why we couldn’t add the teaspoon of chia gel to ALL the Beauty Waters we make? Can’t think of any myself, but wanted to ask you, just to make sure.

    Thanks again,

    Ronn

      Hi Ronn,
Thank you for your kind words and support. I appreciate it.

I don’t see why you can’t add chia gel to every smoothie you make if you want.

I am not a doctor but have read that if one has low blood pressure, chia is not advised and there are a couple of other contra-indications, so make sure you research chia and make sure it’s okay for you to eat it and if so, in what quantities.

That looks so delicious (and as you said – elegant!)… YUMMM

I’ve gotten away from doing smoothies the last couple weeks, and it has probably been a month or more since I’ve done a beauty water. I’m going to pick up the ingredients after work and make some as soon as I get home and again tomorrow morning.

      Hi AndiRae,

I know how you feel, I needed a break from smoothies too, which is why I came up with my Beauty Waters. I am really on a roll with them… let me know how you like it.

I’m in love with this beauty water! The first time I made it I used a whole bosc pear and just one plug of ginger; it reminded me of the white of a watermelon rind. This time I added more ginger and it’s very tasty. My husband says: why can’t you buy this in stores? My reply: because it wouldn’t be the same. It’s so fresh and refreshing! But juice bars could definitely benefit from adding beauty waters!

    • Jane says:

      Hi Christine,
Thank you and thank your husband for your kind words and support. I appreciate it.

I thought the same thing – it’s great for juice bars – if I only could clone myself to get it all done!

Hi Jane! I’m a be fan of yours! As a matter of fact, you’ll be the 1st person I point my mom-in-law towards when she gets her vitamix. =D

I was wondering if you’re on Pinterest?

    Thanks so much!

    • Jane says:

      Hi Jennifer,

I don’t have a Pinterest page for Blend It and Mend It! at least not yet.
Thanks for your kind words and support. I appreciate it.
Wishing your mom-in-law as much fun and wellbeing from her VitaMix as I get from mine.

Yum! I just made a batch of this but mine still has a lot of pulp in it. Do you think I need to blend it longer? I have only had my Vita for 2 days so I’m not sure if I am just not blending long enough or on the proper speed to get a smoother product.

    • Jane says:

      Hi Mahealani,

Congratulations on your VitaMix. I wish you much wellbeing.
I flip it right to HIGH for about 30-45 seconds and it’s smooth as silk.
Try it and let me know.
